Greetings and Salutations!

I have decided to try something new, something sort of unexpected and not my usual thang. I'm following two inspirational quotes. "When was the last time you did something for the first time?" And, "If it is to be, it is up to me!" I have had a lifelong love affair with, and an appreciation of music. I felt the need for a creative outlet. My work doesn't allow me to be too creative, so it's time to be startin' something!

Classic song, associated with Jimmy Cliff, though it has been performed by many artists, Lenny Kravitz, and UB40 to just name a couple. In 1985 my friend from Vail, Amy O was visiting and we wanted to see what was happening in L.A. on a Saturday night. We read in the Calendar section that Jimmy Cliff was playing at Universal that very night. So we hopped in the car and drove up there, got tickets and enjoyed a fantastic show! I've never done that before or since for a concert, but when you're 25... Great lyrics. Love Is My Foundation!
